ONLY WHEN YOU ARE CALLED: Yale Painting & Printmaking MFA Thesis Show, Groups 1 & 2 (2020)

Yale School of Art Green Hall Gallery, New Haven, CT

Two-part thesis exhibition, organized in collaboration with 24 multidisciplinary MFA candidates at the Yale School of Art. Featured the work of Hangama Amiri, James Bartolacci, Tim Brawner, Kevin Brisco, Mariel Capanna, José Chavez-Verduzco, Taylor Clough, José de Jesus Rodriguez, María de Los Àngeles Rodríguez Jiménez, Krystal DiFronzo, Sara Emsaki, Trevon Latin, Naomi Lisiki, Victoria Martínez, Aryana Minai, Africanus Okokon, Edd Ravn, Kern Samuel, Carly Sheehan, Rebecca Shippee, Kathia St. Hilaire, Chiffon Thomas, and Ye Qin Zhu.

Inaugural exhibition for the Museum's third-floor program, exploring how artists who did not have access to traditional printmaking workshops or darkrooms used the copy machine as a hybrid camera/printing press in the predigital age, with an emphasis on the innovations of women artists. Featured the work of David Bolyard, Phyllis Cairns, Clare Charles Forster, Kake Production, Edward Meneeley, Lesley Schiff, Barbara T. Smith, Rebecca Stuckey, Robert Whitman, Becky Wible, and Walter Zimmerman.

Art for Society's Sake: The WPA and Its Legacy (2013–14)

Collection exhibition that examined the histories and legacies of government support for the arts, from the Works Progress Administration's Federal Art Project in the 1930s-40s to the National Endowment for the Arts in the 1960s to the culture wars of the 1980s-90s​.
