Experiments in Electrostatics: Photocopy Art from the Whitney’s Collection, 1966–1986 (2017–18)

Inaugural exhibition for the Museum's third-floor program, exploring how artists who did not have access to traditional printmaking workshops or darkrooms used the copy machine as a hybrid camera/printing press in the predigital age, with an emphasis on the innovations of women artists.
